Greetings, stranger. My name is Joey and I’m 24 this year. I graduated with a Diploma in Information Security from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2017 and now I’m here pursuing a degree in Computer Science (Cyber Security).
I chose this course as the specialization was quite similar to what I have learnt in polytechnic and that it would allow me to acquire new knowledge and add on to what I have learnt previously.
Hobbies and interests
Most of my hobbies are pretty generic I guess, such as:
- Listening to music
- Watching videos
- Reading books
- SLEEPING.
- and my favourite, playing computer games with my pals.
I used to play sports like badminton and soccer but stopped after I took a few injuries to the kneecaps so I’ll just stick to light activities instead.
NS LIFE
I don’t have a lot of other things to talk about, so i’ll just tell you about what I have done in the past 2 years of my life. I was posted to the Republic of Singapore Air Force as a Transport Operator (basically a driver) and it was pretty fun yet slightly tiring as I would be going outfield every few weeks or so.
All in all, it was quite a fulfilling experience I had and not to mention that I obtained a driving license for free. Sweet!
Aims & Goals
Well, my goals for the short term is to be able to graduate from my course peacefully without major hiccups i suppose…
And for the long term, i haven’t really thought much about what I’ll do but i guess it’s to be able to live everyday happily!

Hi Joey, nice to meet you, good to know that we share similar hobbies. It is sad to see that you have to give up on some of your favorite sports due to injuries you have suffered, it is never easy to give up on something you like.
I have to say that I have no idea which one is you from the group photo, so a selfie would improve the overall post.
And lastly, we all want to graduate without hiccups and I hope you have a pleasent journey in your remaining university life.
Your life motto is nice and simple, to live everyday happily with no worries which is what I would want too.
